LottieFiles' Fair Usage Policy ("FUP") is designed to prevent fraud and abuse of our products, and to keep LottieFiles fast and reliable for everyone. It applies to every plan (Free, Individual, Team, Team+ and Enterprise) and to every LottieFiles product, including the LottieFiles platform and workspaces, Lottie Creator, Lottie Editor, the premium animation library, LottieFiles CDN and Asset Links, AI features, our plugins and integrations (such as After Effects, Figma, Canva and Webflow), and our desktop and mobile apps (together, the "Services").
This FUP forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Terms of Sale. The Services are operated by Design Barn Inc. ("LottieFiles", "we", "us").
LottieFiles subscriptions are for use by the people who hold a seat on them, for their own projects and the projects they work on, in line with this FUP ("Legitimate Use").
What is not Legitimate Use
The following is a non-exhaustive list of practices that are not Legitimate Use:
Using a subscription to mass-download premium animations, for example to build a stockpile, an offline library or a dataset.
Reselling, redistributing, sublicensing or giving away premium animations, whether original or modified, including inside templates, packs, UI kits or competing libraries.
Sharing a login or a seat between people by any means. One seat is for one named person.
Using bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated means to search, download, export, generate or host content, other than through our official plugins, integrations and APIs within their limits.
Using LottieFiles content, AI outputs or metadata to train, fine-tune or benchmark machine-learning or AI models.
Creating multiple accounts or workspaces, or splitting users across workspaces, to get extra AI credits, CDN bandwidth, storage or seats, or to stay under a plan's user limit.
Using a Free or Individual plan for commercial work, which these plans do not permit under our Terms and Conditions.
Using LottieFiles CDN, Asset Links or storage to host or serve anything other than animations made or managed in LottieFiles, or as general file hosting or backup.
Any use that overloads, disrupts or degrades the Services for other users.
Other practices may also be relevant. LottieFiles may take any unlawful, prohibited, abnormal or unusual activity into account when deciding whether use is Legitimate Use. If we determine that you are using the Services contrary to this FUP, we may restrict, suspend or terminate your access to any LottieFiles product, at our option, immediately.
Plan allowances
Every paid plan includes the monthly allowances below. Features marked "unlimited", such as file uploads, are unlimited within this FUP.

Free plan allowances are shown in your workspace. Current allowances for every plan are listed on our pricing page, which takes precedence if it differs from this table.
Premium animation downloads
All access to the LottieFiles premium animation library is subject to this FUP.
If your account reaches an excessively or unusually high number of premium downloads, you’ll see a message letting you know. At that point, premium downloads from your account will be paused. You can continue downloading after a short cooling-off period, or contact our support team and include details of your use case if you need more urgent assistance.
CDN and Asset Links
LottieFiles CDN bandwidth is measured per workspace, per calendar month, against your plan's allowance above. We monitor CDN usage monthly to keep delivery fast and available for all users.
If your workspace goes over its monthly allowance, we will let you know and may ask you to upgrade your plan, add more bandwidth, or self-host high-traffic animations. If excess usage continues, we may throttle or pause delivery of the affected Asset Links until usage is back within your allowance.
AI features and credits
AI features use the monthly AI credits included in your plan. Credits reset each billing month, do not roll over, and cannot be transferred, sold or shared between accounts or workspaces.
We may limit or pause AI features for an account that sends requests through automated means, generates at an abnormal rate, or tries to create content that infringes others' rights or breaks our Terms and Conditions.
Uploads and storage
Unlimited file uploads are meant for the animations and source files (such as AEP and Figma files) you create, edit and ship with LottieFiles. Workspace storage is not a general backup or file-sharing service. If uploads or storage grow far beyond normal use for your plan, we may contact you and ask you to remove files or move to a plan with more storage.
Seats, workspaces and accounts
Each paid seat is for one named person. Seats can be reassigned when someone leaves your team, but not rotated between people to share access.
A Team plan covers up to ten (10) users per company domain or workspace. Organizations with more users can upgrade to Team+ or Enterprise.
You are responsible for all activity on your account and workspace, including use by anyone you give access to.
How we enforce this policy
Most fair-use limits are handled automatically and lift on their own. Where we need to act, we usually follow these steps, though we may skip steps for fraud, serious abuse or repeated breaches:
Notice. We let you know in the app or by email that your usage is outside this FUP.
Temporary limit. We may pause premium downloads, throttle CDN delivery or pause AI features until usage returns to normal.
Upgrade or adjust. We may ask you to move to a plan that fits your usage, or to change how you use the Services.
Suspension or termination. For continued or serious breaches, we may suspend or terminate your account or subscription.
Fees for a subscription suspended or terminated for breach of this FUP are non-refundable, as set out in our Terms of Sale.

Changes to this policy
We may update this FUP from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised FUP.
