Question 1 of 11

Who owns motion at your company today?

Motion deserves the same ownership as typography or color. Think about who decides motion direction, quality, and consistency.

Why it mattersWithout ownership, motion stays a series of one-offs. Mature teams put a named person or team on the wall.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How is my score calculated?

Your answers turn into points, and those points roll up into four pillar scores: governance, scale, accessibility, and business impact. The pillars aren't weighted equally. Business impact counts the most at 30 percent, governance and scale sit at 25 percent each, and accessibility is 20 percent. Add the four together for a total out of 100, and that total places you in one of four tiers, from Starting to Leading. The same scores decide the rest of the report too: the label on each pillar bar, the first gap you're pointed at, and the examples you see. Nothing is hand-graded or subjective. Your answers pick the numbers, and the numbers pick what the report says.

Are these scores industry benchmarks?

No. The tiers describe maturity levels in the assessment model. They aren't statistically validated industry percentiles. The diagnostic is the value, not the number.
