Why do we use bitcoin calculators???????? The “math problems” in bitcoin are used to avoid double-spending. Double spending means that any digital token can be easily copied and can be spent multiple times. This is not a problem if all digital tokens are managed by a central authority e.g. a bank can reject/accept any transaction.
