Sometimes the silent piece in a whole, the blob undoubtedly has its place in UI design whether we notice it or not. They can serve many purposes, to fill in empty space, to create separations, to add visual variety, a sense of fluidity, and more. While they may be simple, they can be the enhancements to your design that you didn’t know you needed.

Sometimes you may only want a subtle bit of movement, almost like your app or page is breathing, and that’s where an animated Lottie blob comes in.
