Our work and leisure have increasingly moved to online interfaces. Virtual meetings are a part of daily to-dos, and many of us are exploring or have already dived into video streaming and podcasting by now. In both cases, adding personalized branding goes a long way in creating a solid first impression. And if you can do it with animation, that's cherry on the cake.

Today, we will show you how to add a Lottie animation to Ecamm Live; an all-in-one live streaming production platform built for Mac. So let's jump right into this simple tutorial and uplevel your video stream a notch.

1. Get your Lottie animation from LottieFiles

Search and download thousands of FREE Lottie animations on LottieFiles. Once you find what you like, copy the iFrame code.

2. Add a widget overlay to Ecamm Live

Go to Ecamm Live, and from the top menu, click on 'Overlays.' Then click on 'Show Overlays Window.' This will open a new window. Here, click on 'New Widget.'

3. Paste iFrame code

Now paste the iFrame code you copied earlier from LottieFiles.com into the Widget URL field, but paste only the URL between the quotes (" "). You can also name this for easier identification. Once done, just click on 'Add Widget Overlay.'

4. Resize and reposition the Lottie animation

As soon as you have added the widget overlay, you will see the Lottie animation on your screen. You can drag it anywhere to resize and reposition it, as per your preference.

5. Activate the Virtual Cam

Now you're all set, but just one last thing to do. Click on 'Output' and then on 'Virtual Cam' from the top menu. Remember to set this to 'On' and Ecamm Live Virtual Cam is selected as the camera to ensure it is activated for Zoom, Google Meet, etc.

We hope you've enjoyed this quick tutorial and will head right away and try it out for yourselves. Add a dash of motion to your video stream – it will grab eyeballs for sure.
