From LottieFiles straight to your Elementor Website

Not everyone can code things from the ground up, but building your own custom website complete with Lottie animations shouldn’t just be reserved for those with degrees in computer science.

Whether you’re looking to increase engagement with your page or simply wanting to make the experience more fun for your visitors, Lottie animations can help you achieve that without hindering load time (a blessing if you consider SEO point scoring).

Elementor makes putting together stunningly designed websites accessible to people from all walks of life by letting you simply drag and drop your vision into reality. The possibilities are endless and now Elementor are making it even easier to bring your websites to life with Lottie animations with their new Lottie widget.

With the Lottie widget, you can copy paste a Lottie URL from LottieFiles or upload a Lottie file straight from your PC.

Just drag and drop the widget to where you want your Lottie to be.

An Elementor Lottie animation will automatically play and the widget will give you options for Lottie input.

You can select to either upload a Lottie file from your PC, or you can add a Lottie via ‘External URL’ which can be found under any animation selected on LottieFiles.

Once you’ve added your Lottie, the widget lets you adjust its settings so you can make your animation interactive, faster, slower, and you can even choose your animation’s start and end points.

And there you have it, you’ve added a Lottie animation to your page without having to touch a single line of code. It really is that easy!

To ensure that you're never more than a click away from Elementor, we've added a helpful little button under every public animation that takes you straight there.

So if you haven't already, why not get started and try adding your first Lottie animation to your webpage using one of the many free animations on LottieFiles?
