Force on charge moving in magnetic field. A researcher sets up a beam of electrons inside a cathode ray tube so that they are travelling in a vacuum. He aligns the beam so that it passes close enough to a fluorescent screen and shows up as a beam of light. He then brings a magnet towards the beam, and looks to see how the beam behaves.
